Lost iPod Shuffle, Found iPod Shuffle

Idea: Since we're all being tracked via GPS in our cell phones anyhow, what about making tiny devices locatable via GPS in case you lose them.Yesterday I went to the dentist for some work, and brought my new iPod Shuffle I got as a gift from my brother for Christmas. Of course, I'd forgot to charge it, so it was useless as a tool to prevent me from hearing the drilling sounds in my head... but that misses the point. :)
On the way out, I left the shuffle, about the size of two quarters, and maybe lighter than that, at the front desk. I biked home, and when I got there I couldn't find the shuffle and I thought I'd lost it. I was bummed.
Today, I got a call from the dentist's office telling me I had left it there. Sweet!
However, if my iPod had a GPS transmitter in it that periodically updated its location via email or SMS to me, how sweet would that have been? Mr. Jobs?
