First the bees, now the bats.
I wonder if it has anything to do with that crap they spray from the planes.
Or is it the genetically modified food?
Maybe the 1600 tons of depleted uranium that the United States has polluted the earth with?
Hello?? Does anyone even give a crap?
Dead Bats.

Have you heard about CCD? No, not the Sunday class where I read and listened to fun stories about Jesus and the gang as a kid while my parents were in church at St. Martin's in Sunnyvale. I'm talking about Colony Collapse Disorder. The bees are missing, and nobody knows why. This doesn't bode well.
I have a few theories.
- The Ruskies are behind it. The idea here is that many of the bee colonies that currently exist in the US stem from a set of colonies imported from Russia decades ago. Somehow the savvy, wiley Russian Horde has triggered a recall command in the bees descended from the bees we purchased way back when. A nefarious scheme indeed. One way to confirm this would be to check the status of the bees in Russia. And if the Chinese aren't feeding them our pet food, check the status of the bees there, too.
- It's the corn. Why corn? Well, it may not be specifically the corn, but its the whole suite of genetically modified foods that are being used. In particular, its the pesticide genes spliced with blue apples that I'm worried about.
- It's Gaia, baby! My personal favorite. The planet is saving us from ourselves. We are poisoning our environment with chemicals, chemtrails, and genetically modified plants and animals. Earth doesn't think thats such a brilliant plan, given that she has been working on her own plan for some time now. Gaia is in tune with the system, and the missing bees are helping get rid of the things causing the most harm. Too bad it's us. Hopefully the bees are all just on vacation, but I don't think so.
So, there you have it. What do you think?
Oh, and buy the way, you should think about what you're going to tell your kids when they ask about the birds and - thats it.
Peace.
